Chocolate Brownie Biscuits

115g plain flour 
125g unsalted butter
75g self raising flour 
200g dark chocolate
100g chopped walnuts 
 2 tablespoon golden syrup
100g chocolate chips 
2 eggs lightly beaten
 
Line a biscuit tray with baking paper.
1 Sift plain and self-raising flours into a large mixing bowl, add walnuts and chocolate chips.
2 Combine pieces of butter and chocolate in small pan. Stir over low heat for 5 minutes or until chocolate has melted and the mixture is smooth. Remove pan from heat ; add syrup and beaten eggs, mix weIl.
3 Pour chocolate mixture into large mixing bowl with the dry ingredients. Using a metal spoon, stir until just combined. Cover the mixture with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
4 Heat oven to 180°C. Roll 1 level tablespoon of mixture at a time into a balI. Arrange balls on the prepared tray ; bake for 12 minutes.
Remove biscuits from oven ; transfer to a wire rack to cool.
